AFAIK you can just go to Play Store and download any app you need e.g. XCIPTV, TiviMate, etc.

Just noticed, you're not the OP. Get an android box within your budget, best spec you can afford, check with sub supplier before final purchase. All Android boxes should work, if they have good enough spec. BTW you can try your sub on an Android phone first.

I couldn't say, I am not an expert, there are literally hundreds of variants of these boxes all with different needs. When I needed to reflash my Android box I joined XDA, asked an expert and hey presto, all good now. Best advice: Stop hoping someone will know the answer here and go to XDA...

If you press App on your remote while program is onscreen you should get a soundtrack and subtitle menu which allows you to select your preferred language I'm new to MAG but have a 424 and that's where I see them. Hope this helps
