New software update to r4, but reboot reverts back to r2

Hello folks,


New to the Mag322 and I have been directed to the inner portal which prompts a software upgrade from July 2018 r2 to July 2019 r4.

Upgrade begins and loads, but upon reboot, a get another software upgrade window reverting back to July 2018 r2 and begins automatically.

I have the software upgrade checked as do not in the settings.


Any ideas???

You could try the “ deeper” hard reset which will load the factory image.
Only thing with this is you may lose your Portal information.
My box sub ran out and it ended up getting blocked.
I had to load the noblock image which I lost the info ur update url.
I used the reset button at the back of the box, held in while I unplugged and replugged the box.
It flashed slowly, then quickly and I released it.
What this did was forced the factory mate to be loaded and reset my update info from infomir.
I now have the latest image, but the box seems to okay great, then the channel flashes and returns for some reason...
Hoping to figure out why....
