so i have a LG CX 48 in my office, and sometimes while i work, i like to watch tv here. This isn't my main tv. On my main tv, i have boxes with Tivimate which works flawless. I don;t want to get a box for this because i'll barely use this.
Now my provider has their own EPG which i use with tivimate and it populates everything. My provider has 18K channels. So i used m3u4u to remove all the stuff i don't need and created a new playlist which i used on Smart IPTV app on my LG. The issue is the EPG doesn't load. I get that you have to use their code, but it's hundreds of channels.. is there a way i can add epg using a software? i used m3u4u to remove all the prefix from the channel names and attached the TVG-ID to the channels, but SmartIPTV isn't really picking it up.
