did you guys change between LAN and WIFI ? if yes... switch it back.. because both LAN and WIFI having different MACs and that might confuse the app.

Channel editor and bouquet list are two different things. The channel editor has some bags and is beta, not 100% working yet. That's why most people just using the bouquet list.

i never tried the lite one, because i like premium devices, especially when the upgrade of the device is just a few eur... i mean there is no big gap between the price of the lite and the 4k max, especially when its on sale.

currently the 4k max is on sale, so you should get it, its a really good one and by the way, most likely smart tv's having limited memory/cache so the new amazon fire tv stick is much better ;)

Try to install the VLC player, most likely it brings the right codec

Nope, it's not the same but basically you can generate the epg url out of the m3u url.

I've checked and there are many F1 movies available. Try to reload your playlist.

Your IPTV provider should provide a EPG url to you which needs to be added to the IPTV app.
