This box got a uncommon problem. S412 is able to run eather Android or Linux. Android is working, but When I choose to switch to Linux it reboots and asks for login credentials... I have never set any ! I did a factory reset, but its the same issue. I can go back to Android whitot problems, but...

Have you tried to make a reset to factory defaults ? To initiate factory reset, press the following buttons subsequently: S.INFO, 4, 9, S.INFO. Then press OK. STB will reboot. Of course you have to add settings again efter this.

Anybody done a Update/Recovery using OTA at this box ? I can not find a working link for this box (S412)

I did just that but efter reboot, it asks for a login that I dont have so my only uption is to continue use Android. There must be a way to pass by this login box...

There is no obvious place for Linux boxes. Or TVIP boxes in general. Because they can use both Android and Linux I have for example a TVIP S412 using Linux. I think it works much better than Android One yhing Im concerned about though, is the web browser. Like, when using it, how do I get back...

I have 3 TVIP S412 that looses the connection. Different locations. Rebooted router Reboted box TVIP logo is shown as normal on boot But after that I just see the rotating wheel

Yes, but that was wit another provider. And Im not very happy with that provider, so Im seriously thinking of switching to Rapid.

Yes there is another question. I dont even know what stalker middleware is. I have tried a few providers, and there wasnt any talk about middleware. It just worked anyway. :) I just added the URL I got , that was it. So what is this Middleware, and what does it do ? Why do I need it ? Or dont I ?

Using Portal, will the EPG work ? Im especially curious if it works for Swedish channels from Viasat and Canal Digital

Because TVIP Boxes can use both Linux and Android there should be some instructions I think. Anyway, using them with Linux is what I prefer, they are fast and you dont have to install any "apps" They say that they are much like a MAG Box, I dont know, because I dont have a MAG... So Im...
