GSE, open with external player, stopped working. How do I fix it?

What Player are you trying to open the channel with ? if for instance VLC .. VLC needs to be installed and configured in GSE as external player.

I have VLC installed on my nvidia shield and have it listed as an external player in GSE. When I select a show to watch, the pop up option to, open with, does not come up.

On nvidia shield you can choose just about any app.. maybe give xciptv or kodi a go ?

i use iptv smarters on my shield, excellent player with a userfriendly interface and you can easily setup any external player.
