Get disconnected Dreamlink t3

Hi guys

I have a dreamlink t3 which is a smooth operated box. However when I play a recording or catchup recording I get disconnected or booted out. The thing is can someone be controlling it remotely. By the way I am running windows 10. Thing is do these boxes have a security flaw at all. Is their anything I can do. Great box but thinking of selling it.
