Hi all i am a novice to iptv.
I have tried to find online posts...but no success. I have a list of free and legal streams (these are all FTA in Australia such as channel 9 and channel 7), and as far as i know, not geoblocked. I use Tivimate on my Shield pro to watch these. The m3u8 streams all play fine. BUT channels can be recorded and some can not be recorded.
I am at a loss, because all are m3u8 type.
I have read about ts files and hls (which i dont really understand about). And it just so happens to be that files that are like this http://*****/*****/hls/*****.m3u8 Are unable to record. The files that dont have hls , can be recorded.
Can anyone give a bit of helpful advice...i mean do i have to change the format of the m3u8 to ts? Or something?
Fyi: ALL software is up to date also.
