Tivimate recording playback

I will have to see if the player functions like I want if I use Tivimate. I prefer to use my pc to watch content. Since this records to my hd can I then use other players on my pc to play the files easily? And does anyone know what format they are in?

TiviMate uses .ts format, but you may be able to view your recordings using VLC player which is free to download.
