    I have epg on USA channels still no epg for Canada channels or UK channels. Any information would be appreciated. I use USA Canada epg or ALL epg options from dashboard. USA Canada only one that works for me but only epg for USA channels.

    Hello, try factory reset on you 4k firestick under one of its settings. Then reinstall your app and see if that helps.

    What a good iptv-box for a first timer?

    You could also try MI box s. Little more advanced then 4k firestick but still reasonably priced as well. I've had good luck with them as well.

    Does it matter

    In my opinion I would definitely use a streaming device android based. I use Nvidia shield and they work great. Yes your internet affects things as well but android devices do perform better than using your smart TV.
