best setup using nvidia shield

hi
im new to iptv and was wondering which is the best setup using nvidia shield?
do i setup through kodi?
do i need vpn?
im mainly interested in uk tv but also would like worldwide tv

No VPN
Just use Android ans SMARTIPTV of Perfect Player.
Kodi as last option (you can use SMARTIPTV and perfect player also in Kodi through Android apps)
 
Use SIPTV , tried most of them and it is the best one, you have to pay for it but it is easy to use, go to their website and just paste your line there.
Youtube SIPTV and there are tutorials.

SIP is good. Have some good features like DVB subs and easy interface.

But Perfect Player is also a good option and its free. BUT the big difference is.. Perfect player have ability for custom EPG but no suport for dvb subs for now. SIP dont have custom EPG.

Both apps are good. Just small differences..
 
User interface of SIPTV is 100 times better and more easy to use for kids etc.
EPG is true.

im not sure how smart iptv works?
when i open it all i see is my mac address.
i assume i need to get a m3u list ,go to the website load my mac and m3u file then i can start watching??

Hi.

I am testing SIPTV against the others I am or have used.

So far its good in terms of stability, speed of changing channels and EPG.

What I want to know is, will this output Dolby and 1080p with this? As I do with others....

I'm new here and new to itv as a whole.
I have smartiptv installed on my shield epg works fine but when I select programme I get connect failed. This happens on every channel. I'm using virgin media 100mb.
Any ideas ?

did you resolve your problem ? I have the same
 
I'm using SIPTV and GSE on my Nvidia Shield.

Lately, I often have small breaks during the stream. Do not know why. Does anyone know?
 
I like the line-by-line organized dashboard of TVMate (free stripped down version) for live TV, and Smart IPTV (also free version) for movies so I can search.
