Hi,
What is the cheaper box to watch iptv on a tv?
Is it the chromecast?

well.. The main thing to get a good device for IPTV .. i always recommend Android TV os devices since this gives you so many option in terms of Apps you can choose..

So a Firestick or something like the Mibox S4 are great " cheap " devices ;)

A chromecast is under Android TV, no?
 
I would spend bit more and buy a TVIP or a Formuler Z device and run the IPTV trough the portal.
 
I would recomend The Xiaomi TV Stick. Its affordable and have all the benefints from Mi Box S apart from no usb/ethernet in... only wifi.
