M3U will not get to smart tv

I have an LG smart tv and a samsung smart tv ,I have used both smart iptv and ottplayer to put a m3u file in and everthing has been fine up to last week ,now when I try I get "error create playlist" in Ottplayer and smartiptv just doesnt do anything ,I installed the lg smart tv ap MKIPTV and tried with that thats the same will not upload ,the m3u plays fine in vlc ,i have an old expired m3u file that will upload but obviously streams will not play so app settings are ok
I have had 2 different m3u trials from different people both give the same error ,I need to sub to a new service but cant unless I can get this sorted ,
Has anyone got any advice?

Hi I have contacted both the re sellers one said file size may be too big so sent smaller one still the same errors ,if it plays via vlc the m3u file should be good yes ?
