We are setting up an IPTV channel across a site and wanted to use a STB at the head end distribution points to receive the channel from the LAN network and feed into the TV system. This will be set just to receive our channel. The problem I can see is that if the power is lost, will the STB come back on and on the correct channel? Otherwise we will have to go around the site switching them back on and setting the channel again. The MAG 324 looks like an ideal solution to what we want for a STB for our channel but I am not sure what will happen if it loses its power.
does anyone who may have experience of this STB know if this is the case or could anyone recommend a STB that would suit our needs better?
