Microfreeze resume on MG324w2

Hi all. Is there a way or a trick to resume from a micro freeze on a playback,. Essentially once it freezes, I have to go back to home and restart the program and then forward till the point. I would have hoped the box would pick it up and resume? Is there a setting somewhere for this?

Can you explain what is a Microfreeze?

For example when I'm waiting a VOD, the program plays and then hangs and thats the end of it. I have to restart and have it continue. I've increased the buffer but it has the same issue. I know its the provider but shouldnt' the box have a retry reget protocol etc. ? I have the formuler z8 which stops and then continues from that point if it faces that issue
