I am new to this IPTV stuff. Did plenty of research before trying.
Searched for vendors, VPNs, private emails and bitcoins.
NordVPN was highly recommended.
I am using a Amazon Five TV box connected to my LG OLED.
There is a NordVPN app on the Fire TV so I downloaded and subscribed.
You can activate the VPN connection under the app but when you activate another app
under the Fire TV the connection drops. Why have a VPN if it doesn't stay up.
Contacted NordVPN about the issue. There response was that is not supported?
Why do they have an app available for Fire TV if it is not supported.
Unless there is something I am missing is there a VPN for Fire TV that I can use?

Regarding nordVPN app on Amazon fire TV stick.. fire TV runs with android. So probably the nordVPN app is designed for Android devices like cellphone etc. but probably not optimised for fire TV stick. Not sure, it's just a guess.

Best option would be for you to buy a second router with VPN client involved (most router having only vpn server option). Then your entire network, LAN and WiFi is under the VPN umbrella. I can recommend the Asus routers to you, if you need help with it or having further questions send me a pm. But please note and keep in mind that VPN isn't welcome in our community.

Hectorious thanks for your reply.
But I am a little confused. After the current raids why would one want to run in the open and
be exposed. BTW I am not sure why NordVPN said it was not supported. I mean it is their app to
run on a Fire TV. I tried it today and when I left the app my IP address was changed so it
is working fine. But please again explain why a VPN is not welcomed.
