I would like to point out that the binary sorting of channels is not helpful at all.
After an update I tried several time to sort my channels in order, like PPV 1 and the PPV 2 , PPV 3 etc. in numerical order for the channels !
Then along comes another update and undue everything ! That is very very irritating....( PPV 1, PPV 10, PPV 11, etc. til PPV 19 and the PPV 2 and PPV 20, 21,22 etc.
I think all of us would rather have the channels sorted numerically BEFORE the update. Because its easily done sorting them the first time.
This does not only apply To the Swedish channels, but all over the spectrum. So it is done technically at the beginning of programming.
So please would You be so kind and have this numerically sorted out from the Keyboard programming each set of channels so they are numbered correctly.
Because it doesn't help to have all channels sorted out to be totally ruined by the next upgrade.
Please help us with this......

Many thanks in advance....

Sorting TV channels incorrectly after an update causes a lot of frustration. The current binary sorting method, which places channels like "PPV 1," "PPV 10," then "PPV 2," is not helpful. Users want channels sorted numerically, such as "PPV 1," "PPV 2," "PPV 3," and so on.

Customers often spend time organizing their channels in a preferred numerical order. However, a subsequent EPG or IPTV update undoes this arrangement. This issue affects channels across all regions, not just specific ones like Swedish channels.

The initial channel programming should include numerical sorting. This technical adjustment at the development stage would ensure channels remain in the correct order. Implementing this from the keyboard programming for each set of channels would prevent future updates from disrupting user settings. This would provide a better viewing experience for everyone.

Absolutely my Point ! I can`t believe I haven´t pointed out this earlier..... Should have been done a long time ago by management/Tech....Thank You !

I would just add one more thing to this matter of sorting channels the right way.....

Is it too much to ask for some feedback from technicians or Management ?

Kind regards

I am beginning to wonder if anyone from management are reading this suggestion.
Mainly because it would gain a massive support if the channels be sorted the correct way.....
And its just a little bit of keyboard work, wouldn´t take more than an hour to fix it.....

Please support this.....
;);):)

More than a month has passed by and still No updates or even feedback ?

Please respond...
Kind regards

Hello,
Which device /app you use when you have this problem after live events update ? Live events only change event name not first part of channel title
