I have the latest version of tivimate and I'll watch live tv and the video keeps replaying over and over. Its a section of of video plays then freezes and replays that same video section over and over. Anyone have idea what the problem is or how to fix it? Its running on the Firestick 4K.

Install the VLC player, once installed try tivimate again.

Have both installed and all I get is freezing constantly. I’ve rebooted firestick which doesn’t help

not sure why your being told to use a vpn or change dns or even use another video player if your channel is looping.

Try the channel on another device and if it still does the same either name the channel here and then report it via your dashboard or contact your seller.

Over 5k channels and we cant test them all to find the channel you are having a problem with.

It happens on any channel. Last night i was trying to watch the John wick movies on the Bravo tv channel, and it kept buffering every couple mins where it’s unwatchable. Tried iptvsmarter app and it does the same buffering and looping on that. I did a trial of a different iptv service and had no issues

You used MPEGTS or HLS? However they both protocols and you'll see if a switch between these protocols will bring any improvement ?

Hi, ever since my Android device updated to Android 14, IPTV no longer works properly — whether it's IPTV Smarters, TiviMate, or VLC. I have the same problem everywhere: the sound comes before the picture, and the image looks zoomed in like a magnifying glass. It's basically impossible to watch TV. Maybe someone has a solution?"

Fix IPTV issues on Android 14 (audio ahead of video, zoomed image)

  1. Switch decoder in app settings
    • Try changing between hardware and software decoding
    • Usually found under playback or player settings
  2. Change video rendering mode
    • Switch between SurfaceView and TextureView if available
    • In TiviMate: try ExoPlayer vs system player
  3. VLC fix
    • Settings > Video > Output > try OpenGL or Android native
    • Disable hardware acceleration in advanced settings
  4. Reset app
    • Clear cache and storage
    • Reinstall and reimport your playlist or portal
  5. Check system display settings
    • Settings > Display > Screen zoom or DPI > set to default
    • Settings > Accessibility > disable Magnification
  6. Try another IPTV player
    • OTT Navigator, XCIPTV, or Perfect Player may work better
  7. Advanced
    • Consider rolling back to Android 13 or using a separate Android TV box if nothing helps

Thanks for your help. The problem can't be fixed until Google releases an update. I’m using Google TV, and until Google provides that update, there’s nothing that can be done. There are others experiencing the same issue. It doesn’t affect all channels, only some."

That's a common headache with Tivimate. I ran into something similar on my Firestick. A few things to check: Your internet connection might be spotty. Try a speed test to see if it's stable. Go into the Firestick settings, find Tivimate in applications, and clear the cache. This often stops the looping. If that doesn't work, restart your Firestick by unplugging it for a minute. A fresh start can clear up temporary glitches.

Also, see if the problem happens on other channels. If it's just one, your provider might be having server trouble.

Everything has been resolved. The issue is with Google; many people have had the same problem since Android 14, not just me. I now bought a Thomson Streaming Box Plus 270 with Android 12 and no longer have the problem."
"Now I would like to know how to disable automatic software updates on the Thomson Streaming Box Plus 270. I would be grateful if someone knows."
