Tvip 605 Linux on Samsung TV

I am using the tvip 605 but noticed it is not compatible with a lot of Samsung TV
Probably 5 years old and older
No problem with any other brand
Anyone has any idea ?
This is a fairly new product
I use it as a Mag / Linux

How is it not compatible?

The TV has an error message : The resolution has to be changed, not compatible
These 3 different Tv are 4 or 5 year old HD TV

I did try to put it on another TV and force the resolution to be changed to 1080P 60 Hz, no difference, I put it on a Sony, LG or a 6 month old Samsung, runs like a charm

Hi @Charbybos, I use TVIP 605 on old Samsung smart tv that is not 4K. It works like a charm!

Try to change the following in Settings, Display.

HD format to 1080p, 60
SD format: PAL, but if your TV is NTSC then choose that.
Aspect ratio: original
HDMI RGB: OFF
HDMI -CEC: ON
HDMI CEC mode: Tuner

Thank you for the tip it did worked, but I should not have to change to 1080P 60hz so it works any other TV than a 3+ yer old Samsung is fine

How to I even get to that screen it’s not even letting me go there.Just shows tvip then poof goes to the mode not supported place
