I have the issue both with m3u8 and then using xtreme code. Regarding using the external player, that is what I have been doing but I much rather use the built in player at least for channels, for vod I am using VLC.

Is anyone else experiencing issues when playing channels, I have had it for the last 3-4 months. When starting a channel I get UnrecognizedInputFormatExecption message. I have to try playing the same channel 2-5 times before it actually plays with the internal player.
