Best device for subtitles

Hello

Only very few streams including (german) subs. I really need them to watch movies, at least in the VOD content. Currently i'm on a MAG Box but I ask myself, if there are ways to add external subtitles, let's say from opensubtitles on other devices. When i'm in kodi for example, is it there possible to get subs from external online sources for the movie?

If you use KODI you can download subs from opensustitles and other subtitles providers

Thanks for your answer. Since i'm such a newbie in this stuff, i had to do a lot of reading today. I just ordered a Vero 4k+... let's hope i'll be happier with this than with MAG.

@Sense thanks a lot for your tutorial on how to add EPG in Kodi. I followed your steps and it worked fine. Now i got EPG!

I also installed opensubtitles and AutoSub. But still, the subtitles doesnt really work. Mostly no subtitle appears, sometimes a window pops up where I can search for subs. I just dont get how i can manually get to this window, where I can search for subs if it doesnt work automatically? Thanks for your help!
