Sony bravia 'cannot play video'

Hello.
I have had iptv installed on my TV for quite some time. I installed a the update on my TV recently and now all the films will not play, i get an error saying 'cannot play video' it seems like an error from the TV and not the app. all other channels work fine.
Any suggestions appreciated as my little lad wants his films back ha

try to do a factory reset of your tv and then try it again without the update, hope this will work

Wont that erase all the apps on the tv including iptv?

Yes it will erase all the app and also its kind of hard to get rid of an update on a TV .. Not many option to do that since you would need root access...

Most likely is that the support for the different codecs in the new update for your TV are outdated or simply not compatible no more..

My suggestion... Get an Android TV box like a Mibox s4 to take full controll of your IPTV experience

Just google Mibox s 4 and you will find strores near you .. Or maybe have a look at amazon
