MAG540 Access Denied

Hi guys,
my father and me both use a MAG540 box in combination with a greek IP TV provider. It all worked flawlessly until from one day to another my father couldn't access the portal because of the attached error message. I think it happened after an update of the box. As a test I also connected my MAG Box at my fathers place which also didn't work. Back home my box worked without a problem. That's why I'm starting to believe that it coould be a problem of the router settings. What do you think? Here are the things I already tried:

-rebooting the router and the box
-resetting the box to the initial settings
-connectinc over wlan
-connecting over a hotspot of my mobile phone with a different internet provider
-calling the internet provider
