Tvip s-box 605

Im gonna test it tomorrow
just dont want wich app or system to run on yet (support both android and linux)
 
Have you tried it yet? Have you tried teletext subs with example National geograpic SWE

otherwise try it with android mode and iptvpro app and vlc player. That should enable subs on every channel. Can't try it with my TVIP 412 since VLC dont support android 4.4

Tried it in Linx-mode (standard)
No subtitles on viasat movie-channels bit works fine on cmore movie-channels
Also no problem when theres Swedish subtitles on vod multisubtitles

will try national geographic Sweden in a couple of minutes
 
No text on nat geographics
Going to try how to get it in android-mode
 
I have a tvip 412 and have same issues with Swedish subtitles on Viasat channels. When using a mag there is No problems how how come and Can this be fixed?

I got it to, but I need to wait 2-3 min then the subtitles is applied.

On all Viasat channels? Do u have 1 Line for each subtitle?
 
I use it registered with Mac-adress
Searching for a good way to have it work with all subtitles
 
Hi, have you guys received any text on viasat channels and nat geo? Have customers who have TVIP boxes but they complian that do not work. Have not heard that people have the same program with the MAG boxes?
 
Subtitles on tvip box dont work om Viasat channels. It does work on mag boxes
 
Thank you for your reply, It's strange that it does not work. as said MAG has no problem so it seems that it should work when using TVIP in MAG mode.
 
I’ve heard from tvip support that Rapid must change solution on the stalker server to get the subtitles to work.

Can staff in here maybe help us with that?
 
Anyone tested IPTV-S 605 in android mode
I run it with linux and Mac-adress
Havent tried the box fully
Is it difficult change it to android
 
Hello!
As i figured out, android is not possible yet in an official release for this box, but there is a way to upgrade it to a bera version (instructions on link)

Dont know if maybe there is other way with android app to get the subtitle to work
 
Whats the difference between 605 and 415 beside design and software? Have tvip415 but thinking about buying 605 but is there any difference that makes it worth it?
 
For exampel:
Better CPU, 4K resolution, android 6.0 (415 run on 4.4, 1 gig ram and 8 gig flash (415 have 512 MB ram and 4 gig flash) and so on
