XCPlugin - EPG and LOGOs on Enigma 2

Hello hmmdada,

the pugin works great on Vu+solo2 with the newest VTI image.
Only one problem:

The vod/iptv channels are not loading...
i put the config like this:

Hello everybody. I have tried several hours to get the XCplugin to work properly. I have all the channels so thats not the problem. I have no EPG. and when i start the plugin i get playlist error. No element found: line 1, column URL: portal.rapidiptv.com:8080/enigma2.php.
I have read in the forum that it could be problem with the username and password. Is it the username and password i have to log in at rapidiptv.com or what?
Please i am stucked here!
I have DM 800SE with Open PLI.

I have updated the plugin with the new portal address, you can download the plugin again from post #1 or just change the xc_e2_plugin.xml file to

And you have a valid subscription and used the username and password from the line RapidIPTV or your reseller provided you with ?

when Rapid sent you your link for your .m3u file you have to take the user and password from the link..
example..
http://clientportal.link:8080/get.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD&type=m3u&output=mpegts

LOL... how do you expect to fast forward live TV?? Unless you steal the flux capacitor from the back to the future time machine then you ain't got no hope !

Some iptv servers support 7 day catch up TV... but unfortunately rapid iptv do not support it

This plugin worked first time for me following the instructions in the first post. Well done!

The only thing is that I'd rather at least add my favourite channels to the normal Dreambox Bouquets. I thought this plugin might do that, but it seems I only have access through the Plugin screen.

Does anyone know how I can add the channels in the usual section (with my other Sat channels)?

Ok, I figured this out by running the script provided in the sign up email. Still no EPG or Icons, but I guess this isn't really the thread for it.

I guess the tutorial provided by rapidiptv to install iptv on enigma2 is only valid in case you have the original vu+ and enigma images that don´t support iptv. VIX, VTI images support already IPTV player.

So the plugin xcplugin (etc>enigma2>xc_e2_plugin.xml) is just for EPG and ICONs/LOGOS on the IPTV bouquets. Isn´t it?. Here a video

You can ask your seller to have a m3u_plus channel list with groups. e.g.

I guess this plugin allows you to download new/updated channel list/bouquets from the rapidiptv server using your Vu+ or enigma2 device. isn´t it?. That would speed the process of having the last bouquet updates.
More or less as this other plugin on the video

if this plugin maps out all Bouquets like the mag portal,then does it mean that i cant use the default enigma2 features on those channels?
In other words, can i still use AUTOTIMERS with the EPG of these IPTV channels to program some recordings?

could you show some screenshots of the plugin?,that would help to see if this is interesting.

I my opinion it is always better to make things simple and just use a bouquet for enigma2 that includes some EPG reference for each channel and then use the Rytec EPG dowloader of your enigma2 image. As discussed on this thread https://rapidiptv.com/threads/epg-most-wanted.788/.
I read there that they were preparing that for enigma2.
Is this what the plugin does?

Can you edit the bouquets with the classic DreamboxEDIT software or esettings to create groups and so on or are you tied to the lists?

Last question, how do you install the plugin? is it only so simple as the first post says? only uploading the file to etc>enigma2>xc_e2_plugin.xml and restarting?
I am using OPENVIX 3.2. I ask because i am thinking to buy, but before i need to see how confortable is to have the channels on my vuplus.i installed the plugin but i cant see it in the plugin list.

Works fine on OpenViX, should work on all OE images

For me it is not working on OpenVix 4.2. Which image version did you tried?.
In my case, i can´t see the plugin in the plugin list.

I have achieved to make it work on OpenVix 4.2

It seems that the structure location on OpenVix image use upper case for the folder Plugin and Extension. So if you want to install the XCplugin on OpenVix make sure you modify the path of the plugin from the .zip provided on the first post
FROM
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/
TO
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/

After that and a restart, you will be able to see the plugin in OpenVix too.




Anyway i still haven´t received a correct trial account to test the server
