amazon firetv and stick i got 24p problems.

does the shield work without any problems anyone got it?

Nvidia Shield TV works great!

I use Perfect Player for TV.

can you make a quick test on german 1080p channels? PRO 7 HD, RTL HD, Das ERSTE HD, Sky Sport Bundesliga HD all 1080P ?

I use Shield with SIPTV + Kodi.

Realy love it.

I have a spare 2015 Shield for sale...!
I prefer the 2015 model because it has IR input (handy for using universal remotes like Logitech Harmony) and SD card input. Besides the cooling is better and the hardwrae the same...

Realy don't know what you mean by that and am a hardcore user.

I do everything with my Shield.
Even running DVB_C / DVB-S front end live TV without problems.

ALso tested DVB-c backend on it. Was working fine but need a lot of ADB flashing. Now back on stock firmware.

ALso running Retro games on it (Wii, nes/snes/n64 etc etc).
Wii runs greta with a dolphin bar. Sold my original Wii on ebay

I guess you mean the 23.9 fps stutter?
That's the best thing of the shield. It has frame rate correction. But your TV should support it.

The other topics I find on Google are about plex server.

I never had any jitters or something while watching on my Shield and it's running 16 hours a day for movies, series, liveTV, games etc.

If you have a Smart TV, that is better and less hassle

I could never justify wasting money on a shield just for streaming

My STB that I use on my 80" (non smart) TV using the IPTV app and avoiding KODI like the plague, has NEVER let me down

The only time KODI is ever used is to watch Movies....

Buggiest Android Kodi Box getting about is: Sad
- 99% of AMLogic S912 boxes running Android Marshmallow 6.0, like the Beelink GT1 as an example. Don't get hoodwinked by clever marketing and Tech specs people. Its been awarded a D by our very own @hdmkv. A D for Do Not Bother!
There is NO stable LibreELEC Kodi releases for AML S912 devices either.
All dirt cheap, unsupported AMLogic boxes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 are rubbish at the moment for semi-serious Android Kodi use. If proper bug busting Firmware updates do not come from the seller (virtually always the case) then expect broken Kodi Passthrough Audio (especially DTS) and Video features. AML S912's have colorspace issues. The included Infra Red only remotes are always terrible.
These cheap Android devices are strictly DIY only.
Follow this link where a senior Kodi Android Audio developer tells you exactly what to expect from such rubbish Firmware Android devices.

Does anyone how to edit this .img to insert other apps so it comes preinstalled when i flash a box?
