hi mates

I have 2 clients that have some smaller issues with SIPTV App on LG Smart TV.
What I know right now is that both have an LG TV with low memory. So I had to short the list. It works now but they have regulary "black screens" and then they have to switch channel forward and backward in order that it works again... of course that's a bit boring.

Can someone tell me if that's still related with the memory and I maybe have to shorten the bouquet list even more?

Myself I have Samsung TV and all other clients have aswell Samsung or LG (bit better LG with enough memory) and it works without any issues. So the problem cannot be the source and it has to be the TV? Or at least the internet provider maybe?

Any ideas?

Hello, i have a lg with low memory but the only problem i have seen with low memory was not loading playlist. Did you try to save online the playlist when you uploaded it?

yes also tried with saving online..
maybe it's related to the internet provider? both clients with the same problem have sunrise... with swisscom no issues at all...

just a feedback to my issue posted here...

Client had problems that screen got regulary black and he had to switch channel in order that it worked again.
I changed his DNS on the TV settings to 8.8.8.8 and he tested it yesterday the whole afternoon and evening... I got feedback that it works perfect now.
So I guess DNS change helps out... I have 2 clients both with LG and both with same internet provider and both with LG TV with low memory... and they're the only clients with this issue. I will do the same with the second client in order that his one works perfect too...

This as information for other people here that might have same issue.

I am having an issue with smart iptv app on my LG tv. It was working fine for months and not when I load it up I get a message saying
‘Check playlist nr 1 url’ and the EPG doesn’t load. 1st couple of times I reloaded the app and it was ok, now nothing at all. Anyone got advice what to do to solve the issue?

We had exactly the same issue on two different LGs. Two solutions : -

(1) Select "Reload" from the Smart App setup screen and, depending on your BB speed, the all channels horizontal view will soon show. Of course, if you exclude some of the groups you never use (through Dashboard), then the reload time will be speeded up.
(2) If that doesn't work (or stops working) go to SIPTV and delete your line and, then, re-input the line. Then repeat (1).

Anybodys knows where SmartIPTV on LG gets it's EPG? I didn't configurate anything and EPG appears in many channles, so I would like to copy that URL to my Android box, if possible.

Have someone info about update SIPTV? I have multi-sub VOD and i can't choose and change subtitles.. When i use VLC on PC i have 20 lines to choose :/

Hi All,

I am using SmartIPTV on my LG OLED.

All seems to be fine, however I am missing EPG on some channels from Live POLAND group - BBC CBeebies (2982), BBC First FHD (2984), Canal+ channels (2993-2997 & 2999), Cinemax HD (3002), and others (3007, 3020, 3022, 3023, 3025, 3036, 3042, 3054, 3057, 3058, 3061, 3062, 3063, 3064, 3066, 3067, 3068, 3071, 3073, 3074, 3082, 3090, 3097-3102, 3106, 3114, 3118, 3134, 3149, 3151-3156, 3158, 3161, 3116, 3166).
@Sense confirmed EPG is available for majority of these channels so I guess it is an issue with SIPTV application not fetching complete info from the m3u link.

Does any of you have an idea how I can get that fixed?
