Okay, no problem :)

Download STBEmu (Free) app from Google Play store to your phone. Then click "Configure" and choose profile. Put your STB's MAC, portal address and model at settings of your profile. Then save them, go back to main menu of emulator and click "Reload portal".

Emulator is an app for phone which emulates STB. You can check whether it works on your phone "as MAG box".

I have a few issues with my mag256.
First of all I can't record or pause on any channels in the portal.
Second is that it's not possible to sort the channels in the favorite list and I can't get the EPG to show only my favorite channels.

Doesn't your provider block possibility of recording? Some operators do it.
And you use Smart Launcher skin or Classic?

try to install STB Emulator or Smart IPTV app or KODI on that box.

This message means that your IPTV provider uses Middleware, which is not supported by your box.

i cant load the portal. i cant even see the blue load progress bar. i only see a black screen.

Infomir released new firmware and all boxes need to be updated. Use exactly portal that you give him and change DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 or 1.0.0.1
DNS on MAG box change to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 or 1.0.0.1 > System settings > Network > Wired (Ethernet) > Auto (DHCP), manual DNS

Same Here. Portal still not working on my mag254
I recommend you take 349 / w3 or 352 4K operating 100% verified. Mag 254 is already outdated with 256 mb ram and it's very bad on our update because it does not have a powerful processor, all the newer ones have a 1Gb ram or more. So, I recommend you to buy New Mag!

I got a Mag 256 and it works fine but sometimes when I start it up there is no sound.
I need to unplugg it and restart it to get the sound back.
Anyone know why and how to solve it?
