its not to do with rapid.. its to do with the firmware.
ive been using 02.18-r14-254 till this morning with no problems using m3u with Smart iptv..
upgrading to 02.18-r16-254 has caused the channels to intermittently freeze and also loss of the ability to select a different audio stream.
the link above points to the infomir site with the firmwares, but for the mag254, although showing a date 29/01/2016, the firmware in the folder is the new one 02.18-r16-254.

I am trying to find the prevous one 02.18-r14-254. Shame the mag doesnt give the option of backing up the previouse firmware.

Yes, it has to do with rapidiptv for any other provider works well

what nonsense you write?? Hmm?
 
If you will have the same message "Wrong digital signature" while updating from Bootloader (BIOS) menu using multicast, then your STB is signed with operator key and it can be updated on operator's firmware only. In this case you need to contact directly with your IPTV service provider.
 
My idea is that you was blocked by other provider when you order it, or rapidiptv block it, but not sure
 
The funny thing is that Rapid is not answering any of the tickets I opened on this issue. One of my subscriptions expires tomorrow and I am seriously considering switching to another provider.

Mag 254 is showing 'STB BLOCKED' following an automatic firmware update.

Subscription is fine so it seems that the portal does not accept this new firmware.

Completely stuck without TV due to this problem!
Same problem we wait for a fix !!!!!
 
Same problem here. Updated a new/unused MAG254 to the latest firmware and activated a trial account and it doesn't connect to the portal.
I was preparing this for a new customer...

What is the message you have from MAG? URL ERROR?
