MAG 256/257 Technical Issues

Hi. Try to factory reset your MAG.

I would do but I can't even get into options as screen is just frozen screen

Then I will consider it a defective box. My first MAG 256w2 was also defective. It restarted all the time, so I could not get into the menu once.

Just noticed a problem tonight box wo go past blue loading bar if it does I get weird screens like just showing media browser its not the box other portals load without issue anyone else having issues?

It's still only showing media browser I asked 2 clients to check again and one to reset. The result is still the same.

Hi,

We have the same situation, Only get Media Browser or a blue screen with lines and several red, green and yellow dots on Mag256.
Any news when this will be fixed?

I´ve re checked my system (Germany on mag254) ... starts and loads normally.. asked 3 clients 1 in Germany (mag256) and 2 in Portugal (mag250 & 256).. no problems anywhere

Hi, is it possible for you to ask your contacts with Mag256 to restart box and see if it loads correctly? We have several clients in Portugal with 256 and all report same thing. They get media browser or lines with colored dots, same as our testing mag256

I have restarted mine several times, No problem

So I get a black screen with icons on the lefthand side, hard to sort what I'm choosing, but when I choose TV, I only get Albanian Channels, on VOD only get the first menu

did you hard reboot your Device? Did you reboot also your modem or router? Which portal are you using?
